- Rolled Oats

- Mix the Base Ingredients: Combine rolled oats, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a jar or container. Stir well.
- Add Sweetener and Flavor: Stir in maple syrup or honey, and a pinch of salt. Optional: add cream cheese for a tangy twist.
- Layer for a Swirl Effect (Optional): Layer the oat mixture with cinnamon and sweetener for extra flavor.
- Refrigerate Overnight: Cover and chill in the fridge for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Top and Enjoy: Stir in the morning and add your favorite toppings like chopped nuts, icing, or fresh fruit.
Notes
- To make it gluten-free, use certified gluten-free oats.
- You can use any milk (almond, oat, dairy, or coconut milk).
- Steel-cut oats can be used, but they need a longer soak time (at least 12 hours).
- If you prefer warm oats, microwave for 30-60 seconds before adding toppings.
